Get that old chair out of the basement …or better yet, come to Studio 659 on April 21 from 4 to 7pm and April 22 from noon to 4pm. where you can buy an old chair for just $10 (we have 40and they’re all different) and then truly make it your own as Arts Alive brings back a community favorite, Sitting Pretty in the City.
Paint and decorate and display your chair art in front of your house or business! Pick a theme, copy an Old Master’s, paint a landscape. Try whimsy, seasonals, animals. It’s your fun and your fancy. Whatever you do is ART. Individuals, Businesses, Organizations, Scout Troupes…anybody can get together and do it.
We’d love to have a list of chairs that will be out this summer…Think how cool it will look at Pierogi Fest and Whihala Beach visitors.
