Current Exhibit

SLAC is very happy to once again team up with Arts Alive at Studio 659, in Whiting, IN., and our newest show is all about perspective. This is an all-photography show that can be described in many ways, including how one individual can see the same thing, or things, differently than another. When this is applied to the subject of photography, many more “views” come into play.

This show at Studio 659 is entitled “The Way I See It.” The scope of the show is of an individual’s interpretation, your perception, of everyday life, sights, or events. Whether it is a photo of a mountain, a street sign, or of a building. What is interesting to you?

The show will be curated by Tony Lipka & Kellie Lachata, and presented by South Lake Artists Co-op (SLAC). The exhibit is hosted by Arts Alive at Studio 659, 1413 119th St, Whiting, IN 46394.

  • Exhibit dates are from August 18th to September 22nd. NOTE: Due to the event Latin Satin Soul on Friday, August 18th, there will be a soft opening from 7 to 9.
  • The official opening reception will be on Saturday August 19th, from 7 to 9.
