MEMBERS’ SHOW 2016 — Call for Art

STUDIO 659 is having its annual Members’ Show with the Opening Reception on January 31st at 2:00 p.m. Exhibit Dates: January 31-March 19th.

All Members may submit up to three (3) images in jpeg format.

Submissions Due: Friday, January 22nd.

All Members may submit up to three (3) images in jpeg format. All images must be labeled as first initial.lastname.title (K.Smith.ArtworkTitle). Use “Members Only Exhibit” in the subject line. Any submissions with missing information or improperly labeled images will not be considered.

Please submit images to: Please include your name and an image list in the body of your email with title, media, size, year completed, and price. Please denote any special installation needs in your email.

NEW REQUEST: Please send us a short bio/interesting blurb about yourself. Part of the mission of Studio 659 is to promote artists and help them become known to patrons of the arts. We would like to include this along side your works of art.

ARTWORK:2-D and 3-D submissions in all media and styles welcome. This is a salon-style show so there is no “theme”. 2-D work must be wired 1/3 of the way from the top. Artwork which is not wired or not wired properly will not be hung and will be ineligible for display.

The Gallery reserves the right to decline any accepted artwork upon delivery if the condition or quality is other than represented in the submission.

FEES: This show is for members only. Not yet a member? Join. Until January 31st, Individual Membership is currently discounted to $20 and a Family Membership is discounted to $30 for the year. Fees can be paid online at

The Studio retains a 30% commission – please factor this into your retail pricing.

NOTIFICATIONS: Before January 26th.

DELIVERY: Work must be hand-delivered during regular Studio Hours before January 29th. Artists who ship their work must include return shipment label and proper reusable packaging.

PICKUP: Accommodations will be made the Saturday before Easter, otherwise art can be picked up during regular Studio Hours.
